January 2004 Meeting

Our first ever meeting was held on January 10, 2004, at the Colonial Heights Branch of the Sacramento Public Library.

We had a building area set up in one corner of the room where kids (and adults) could build with loose brick. Paul Sinasohn of BayLUG brought multiple large tubs of parts for everyone to use. We had a lot of cool creations...
A big bbq manned by a hungry police officer, and a very colorful garage.
Many people brought their MOCs (My Own Creations) to display, including:
Some Bionicle creations...
Jason brought two of his excellent Mecha.
Mark Benz brought parts of his San Francisco waterfront, including a ferry terminal and the Palace of Fine Arts. He also had quite a few sets and parts to sell.
Paul Sinasohn brought a nice green house.
Roy Gal had a number of buildings and vehicles, which are now on display at the library.
And, we had a business meeting, that put some to sleep :)
We put up a small display in the library lobby that will be there until our March 13th meeting.
